This month, we are highlighting our work to ban Paraquat, a pesticide that is heavily linked to Parkinson’s disease. This session, the legislature passed a bill into law that will ban its use in Vermont. We’ll be joined by Senator Martine Gulick and VPIRG Executive Director Paul Burns to discuss this critical legislation, its enactment, and how Vermonters will benefit from this ban.
We’ll also be discussing upcoming opportunities to engage with your local and statewide communities, and how you can continue to have an impact on legislation when the Legislature is no longer in session.
